I've never been one to know the words that
my heart longs to say. But in this peom I plan to fight my disability in this way. To the best of my ability I'll tell you how I feel. But even then the words I say could never reveal the feelings that my heart feels
While you are gone away to war my life will fall apart. As we are one, both you and I, our body is ripped apart. You, placed in a foriegn land, and me stuck here at home. I'll pray to God, both day and night, that he'll bring you safely home.
We speak to one another even though no words are said. But because we are both one body, the words are in our head
Every night I cry for you because I miss you so
Because I can't just tell you that "I Love You" so you, yourself will know
BUT WAIT!!!
Our body is one, so you feel it too, the same
pain that runs through me, also runs through you. I will pray both day and night that God will bring you home; Without a scratch, a bruise, a bump but with a love as great as Rome.
Come home to me my faithful soldier, for you have made me proud! For everything that you have done, God has showed you how. You've followed him just like you should because you love him so. And that right there shows to me that you care and that you know.
Just remember that I love you with everything I am. My heart, my soul, my everything like yours is in God's hands. We'll grow together through thick and thin, but mostly throught the thick. Like right now as we speak, our lives are kinda slick. We slip and slide all over the world as time creeps on by. But, oh well, thats what we're for to spread God's message to the world so "One Day We Will Fly".
