The Opening

the days spill into years,but I can vaguely
recall....
the remarkable colors become
permanent,indegenous,inspirational
The very concept of innocence makes this all worthwhile
and tolerable in the end
these raging phosphorous blades
srapnelling the tiny skull. ~distant voic es ~
smiles,tears
a strange overpowering general sense
of jubilation
invasion of searing hot-white life into
once liquid lungs
the opening of perfect
Infantile iris'
the opening wide of Mother's embrace
wide-open,the remembrance of that pacifying smile
~~~~~~~

Are we born again yet?
Are you alive,then?
All the adulation
seems to be about
breaking thru
this Timeless mystery
pentrating this holy silence
Are you still w/me?
Are we born again now?
