LOVE IS TRAGIC

Contributed by hray42 on Monday, 30th June 2014 @ 11:35:52 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

she's a mage, a witch, a sorceress
she is three princesses as one
she wore only the smile that i shall miss
when we first met under a blazing sun

she is a student placed on this sphere
spinning faster than the home she learns of
her interests are far, as well as they are near
she has not yet found what is known to be called love

she is just a child in her soul
so young to be so well informed
her heartfire burns with mystic coal
above her head is where butterfly swarm

her aura will shake any wall to crumble
green eyes, fair red hair, perfect precision
many a fool she has witnessed to stumble
none of them were part of any decision

prince charming may be just over the horizon
only a pinhole to a universe of magic
but the prince must not fall hard from the steed which he rides on
or this poor beauty will come to know that love is tragic...

style, and flows so well and quickly i could have read
