Am I the Wife or The Mistress

Contributed by Geneva1223 on Monday, 30th June 2014 @ 02:06:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Cause I cant lie
I'm so torn and confused
Am I the wife or the mistress to you
It's hard not to think that I'm the fool
You tell me you love but is it true
Cause trust is easy to lose
Once it's gone love is the next to lose
This is the game of who's the fool
Is it her or me you choose
So what do we do from here
You tell me you love me
But it don't compare
To things that you say and do
when I'm not there
If you want me then grow a pair
Cause you say a title is just a name
But it's just a disguise that's easier to explain
Every argument you point the blame
But lies and deceit is your kind of game
Because after it's all said and done
Your the winner of that game and
I'm left in tears, this is the love of shame
Losing my trust cause me to act in away
That i will never be the same
I remember all the fun and good time we had
We use to laugh, love, and play
All of sudden everything change
The play ground is filled with fire and tears
People use to see us as a unstoppable peer
Now we fight like we don't even care
The hope I have in what we share
I know we can get it together
But first we need to clear the air
Lay everything on the table until we are bare
Take off every thread of clothing of betrayal and fear
And start over from there
That's right... I want to here the truth
No matter my fears
I'm in love but not naive
I want to hear every dirty deed
I have to know the whole story
Not just the cover of the book because it deceives
But judging by the cover of your book
I should already leave
At the end of your honesty
If I can stomach the truth and not retrieve
We will start from day one and i will never leave
But dont get it twisted dont ever put betrayal on repeat
So start your story and pass the weed.

This is a sorrow that, sadly, too many of us have felt. You've done a darn good job snap-shotting it.

Great write and thanks,

Invierno.

If you have to ask then you're not the queen. Compose yourself in a regal manner because we attract the type of people we are. Don't settle in content. Find a flawed man of substance
