Why are you sitting in that hole in the ground
Pull yourself out and take a good look around
There is warmth and light in all of your days
Even if the your world seems to be slipping away
I believe in the ones you will always know
They stay beside you and still help you grow
They protect you from the thing that you fear
They well never leave you because you are far too dear
I believe in everything that I have to say
You are far too important to just slip away
They are those that love you more than you will ever know
And there is a little one that has yet to grow
He will need you to help him pull himself from the ground
He will need you to help him take his first look around
He will need you to understand the warmth of the day
Even if his world seems to be slipping away
