Open sores receive greetings engulfed in flames Left watermarked on blood-soaked shores The last breath of air burns your chest As the hole in my heart is repaid with the gash in your throat Appendages unbind and effortlessly disassemble The embrace between flesh and bone is ruptured I tear your arms like wings of insects My butterfly My oversight The water turns your face to clay as I look on with a cracked porcelain smile Apologies become uninterpretable I hope every bubble is a kiss to me
