the anxiety and loss
that parental cross
of pain and sadness
isn't pain and sadness
it's just a feeling
a sensation i have longed to forget
it's just an overwhelming sense
of my emotions
turning like a grinder
thru my soul
but it's not bad

no time for the living

today i'm not staying in bed

i can't let go
