Strangely his words become mine His thoughts become my memories And I share in his charisma As his words stain my paper
His eyes light my world His heartbeat sounds inside my chest And now I become Nothing but his shadow
My light flickers As I step quietly Into his footsteps Staying concealed, hopefuly
So I continue to write And they continue to look for me But when they get here All they will find Are his words

| There is a lot to be said about the bittersweetness of love. Especially when it's love that bites into your soul so hard that it leaves its teeth marks. I enjoyed this poem immensely. Thank you. |
