My life is mine but not mine alone
My actions set a certain tone
I've been through too much through the years
Now it's time to wipe away the tears
Life's a tragedy that I've had to face
Unfortunately the past can not be erased
This test in life I've yet to ace
The path I must travel now is a journey; not a race
So I struggle within
Knowing life's promise will win
Realizing that in order to be free
I must first make myself see
See the gift that is life
While unfolding all it's wondrous mysteries
Enjoying the blessings that come my way
Each and every single day
So I dare you to do the same
To sing the song and play the game
Fight the fight and you shall win
Live your life to the fullest; make it how it should have always been.
