What does my art do for you?
Do you find my poetry special?
I put my Heart & Soul in it
With faith it'll only help you
Inspire, motivate
Uplift and heal you
Just as you can feel my art
My art can feel you
I write my stories and birth spirits
That feel your hurt and heal it
See your worth and build it
Smile at my words and lyrics saying in your mind "thank you"
Like you've seen your guardian angel
With my words I aim to,
Do everything I mentioned in this freewrite
Show you that you can live in darkness and be light
Long as you have a dream and one percent of faith
You can see life as you dream it and reach heights
And exceed heights that are dream-like
If I don't fulfill this purpose,
Be real with me and say so
Then tell me that I should quit.

I always think if a poem can stir an emotion of any kind it has achieved its purpose.
In the past I've had poems that have made people cry, I never set out to do that, yet in a way bringing out that emotion shows it has some meaning.
