Red against cold walls
Seeping through the cracks
Staining the white walls
It can never be totally removed
Hidden from sight
But always there
Try as hard as you may
No stain remover works
The memory is enough
Haunting the living hours
Stalking the night
The threat can never be silenced
Trackers have you marked
The prospect remains as fresh as the memory
Always on the radar
The night watchmen never sleeps.
I will never escape
Forever haunted by the not so white walls.
