Tick Tock Tick Tock

Contributed by waynster on Monday, 11th August 2014 @ 11:28:10 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Tick Tock Tick tock
the second hand turns so slow
Father time doesnt stand still
hes always on the go

An alarm goes off
as you try to stop time
The second hand still keeps on ticking
but youll still hear the chime

The ticking has a rhythmic nature
it tends to take your mind away
Father time has total control
theres nothing we can do or say

Take a deep breath
relax and do not stress
Its the beginning of your understanding
that you now have to address

Tick Tock Tick Tock
let the clock tick away
After all my friends
its just another day

Just say NO to clocks! I've been saying that for years. :P

This title grabbed me, as I've said it recently in a comment. Great job with this...I like the delicate nuance you have weaved throughout this write.

P.s alarm clocks- straight from hell, those things.
