Panacea

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Thursday, 14th August 2014 @ 01:42:15 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Days come and go

faster now than ever before

alive with vigor

bubbling with energy

the earth spins

it's core

heats

an inner thaw

raw

with passion

eats

away

the decay

which dripped

from the surface

the very substance

that binds

man

to the dirt

a god came first

A serpent hisses

with precision

keeps him on his toes

let there be light

watch the apple fall

an iron fist

strikes down his foes

a separation

oceans and heaven

an inauguration

to the destruction

without speculation

a second hand account

of what transpires

when the fires

died down

when the riots

were dispersed

if the water should evaporate

what will wet his thirst?

please his perverse

fantasies

of making love

to many

many

pretty girls

simultaneously

without a care in the world

how absurd

to think of death

when alive

with health

all around him

he only needs himself

____

What a superb poem, written in a style I see far too irregularly on this site.
Keep it up!

Cheers,

Mickey.

Your poetry is courageous
subliminal
Symptom as in abnormal
Sea roll
Green salty
Thing

I like free deep
All those fish
In this
Same world
barnacle and all that

It is good
Peace!

Well, if that little line doesn't sum up my predicament perfectly, I don't know what does.

I'm in need of a muse panacea...My well has dried up. Are you available for hire? Lol.
