Why did you pick me?

Why do you make promises
That you do not plan to keep?
And why do you sneer with hate
Everytime i speak?
Why do you push me away
when i ask for a simple hug
why do you feel so much anger
then promise me its love
why do you get so annoyed
when all i ask for is a kiss
why do you tell me that you care
then treat me like this
why do you yell at me for crying
when theres a reason for my tears
why do you never comfort me
or help me through my fears
why do you always threaten me
and tell me you dont give a ****
but never ask why i feel this way
you just leave me there stuck
between the choice of crying
and hoping youll apologise
but you barely even notice my hurt
or the tears within my eyes
you act like this is right
that it's exactly what i deserve
i guess it must be my fault
or you wouldnt say these words
But why did you promise you love me?
when you dont even care
why do you hurt me and make me cry
then say if i do you wont be there
why did you say youll come and get me
then not even get in touch
have you not thought about how i feel
youre hurting me so much
why did you make promises
if they werent even true
and why do you say you care about me
as much as i care about you
when you dont even want me around
you dont even want me near
not knowing what is going on
is far too much to bear
i dont want to give up on us
but i wish that i could die
you see me upset or angry
but never ask me why
why do you get mad at me
for wanting to know how you feel
why do you say you love me
and promise me its real
when you barely ever act like it
yet you promise that its true
why do you play these games with me
i dont play them with you
i only have one question
i wish youd help me see
Of all the girls that are out there
why did you pick me??

This reminds me an awful lot of a guy I had sort of a relationship with last spring. Guys like that, they're not worth it. You'll only end up hurt. He won't change, unless he gets even worse. Trust me on this. Let him go, for your own sake. There are good guys out there, they just seem to like to hide. Blessed be,

This was a good write that you did, I have to agree, let him go! My girlfriend was kinda in the same situation that your in, trust me you'll be better if you leave I bet there is a lot of other guys out there that will treat you a hell-of-a-lot better.
Make things work out for yourself you'll be happier. |

Why do they do this? I'd have to say that this said a lot that I never had the nerve to say because of my pride. I had a best friend once... that said he cared but, why was he never there? And I finally just got sick of it and told him, "Do not promise me anything else... if I am only going to get hurt. Stop lying, when its obvious you are fooling no one."
I'm agreeing with everyone else... it's time to get away. I wish you the best with everything....
