is there such thing as a relationship
when your a single dad
just creating perfect smiles
so your child is never sad
basing everything you do
on what your child might think
knowing they see everything
they do not miss a blink
so dependant of us
in everything we do
knowing that this kind of love
is forever true
in their eye's we do no wrong
we are heroes in their eye's
we must uphold that image
before they realize
the image that they have of us
noone else can see
it reflects on everything they do
& just who their gonna be
just uphold the image
with everything you do
for one day that image
might be looking back at you

Nicely done and refreshing.Yes the kids do seem to be wise beyond their years at times. Loved this.Thanks for sharing.
