I Wonder

Contributed by avemaria on Wednesday, 21st May 2003 @ 11:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I wonder how it would feel,
to be not me.
I wonder how it would feel,
just to be free.
I look in the mirror,
to see whats on the other side.
Maybe happiness,
Maybe pride.
I wish I could be you,
and you could be me.
To feel what I feel,
To see what I see.
But noone could be me.
Noone would try.
But I want them to feel what I feel.
Cry what I cry.
So won't you please,
enter my life.
See how it is,
See what it's like.

Ah yes.... we all wish for others to understand how we are feeling but, in truth, there is no way they ever can unless they have been there themsleves.

Great poem. I am sure a lot of people will be able to relate to it.

Making people understand the feelings we have inside seems to be the hardest thing we can do. Especially if no one is listening, or no one seems to care. I can relate to this poem, it says so much concerning my present situation...makes me think. Keep writing, this is a great poem, and a good way to express yourself!!!
