The Me I Can't Le Go

Contributed by Invierno on Wednesday, 1st October 2014 @ 04:54:40 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Two elbows-
(they just did it- I didn't ask them to)
crunch into the desk and wood propping
my sagging head
that weighs tons if an ounce-
memories and things I've done-
these demon memories on the pounce.
Tears flow and snot drops
(I'll clean it later)
as the sorrow and horror of reliazation creeps in-
there is more behind me than in front,
these bags of who I am I am are not so easily
cast oer'board.
They stick with me in my soul
and won't go for all my pleas.

Words of sorrows time has given, hurts we have given and blows that tomorrow won't take back. I so relate to your write - did you read my mind today? But I do believe there is hope and the drama of yesterday will flower into the glories of tomorrow. Just got to get thru today. Intensely felt write, P

Dear Mike

Now I didn't have to think of what to comment. All I had to do was wait on God to tell me what to say. So this comment is not from me. It's word from God Himself. My son lift up your head don't look around just reach out your hand you will feel its in My hand. Remember I am Kind that makes all My children every man and woman a prince and princes. So as any good Father I want the best for My children. Any problem you have trust Me your Father its taken care of. God bless my brother

Greetings
Rus

The past is haunting; when we walk down memory lane sometimes a storm emerges, sweeping us from reality, into a chaotic Oz, the land we once lived in, under treacherous rule. But it's then that God reveals to us that His Son paid for everything we've done, no matter what people, the devil, or we ourselves say. Look up at Him for your help, and He will give you rest. Take care friend, and many blessings and comfort I wish for you,

Deidra

I guess it's difficult but in some ways you have to embrace the past because it shapes the person you become.
Life is good, life is bad in different stages.
Being down happens to everyone.
Thankfully you had the craft to tell everyone about it.

You laid this out in the perfect way to compliment your words, and emphasize the emotion. Looking to the past (even the recent past), or projecting about the future is a recipe for disaster. Our own mind can be our worst enemy, so don't dwell there. As Mr Churchill once said; "If you're going through hell, keep going!"

Great job expressing yourself.
