why do we

Contributed by ml02 on Thursday, 22nd May 2003 @ 04:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

why do you
make me cry
and then
hold me tight
and say
you love me
like it makes it allright

why do you
hurt me
so bad
time and again

why do you
utter such words
say you hate me
but
then you love me
or so you say

why do you
burst the bubble
make everything
so unpretty
why
does it all
got to be
black and blue
with you
no rainbow
no pot of gold
no glitterin'
shimmerin' beauty

why do you
bring me down
only
to build me up

why do i
cry
what the ****
why do i
stay
and let you
do this to me
is it really love
or
just another game
in the end
i hope
i'll know
and it'll all be
ok

but
why do
we do
what we do
why do i
stay
why don't i
leave you
why do you
hurt me
why don't you
treat me like the princess
i am
so
the only question
is why do we ?
