Struggle

Contributed by PreciousKitten on Tuesday, 7th October 2014 @ 12:17:20 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I feel tired
yet strong

I feel like "I can't do this"
yet "I know I have to"

no one in this world
will hand you something
without paying for it later
yet if you forget to pay
life will make you pay for it
one way or another

as the saying goes
"you can't have your cake and eat it too"

yet another saying goes
" you will get what you have put into this life"

if someone has ever asked you or
ever told you
" you can not do this task"

then you should ask them
"why?"

the pit and the pratfall
And this struggle
"if someone has ever asked you
or ever told you,
You can not do this task"
My short answer is
That someone (expletive deleted again and again) doesn't
Know much!
My long answer has a lot to do
with history, human history that is,
oh yes, all the heavy laden nuance
that stops too many from ever even
trying..
A good writer is someone who makes
a lot of folk remember the truth
too easily forgotten.
You are one of those "preciouskitten"
Thank you for that!

Peace!
