Here's my problem For her my love has not changed It finds itself strong in my soul I feel it beating in my heart It was always the storybook kind of love That is almost too surreal And I know that a person isn't always The same the next time that you see them And our paths have a round about way As she has changed apart, so have I But that's okay, I don't want her to be stagnant Living hundreds of miles away I just keep Her close to my heart as my dearest friend Yet I always knew our love could move mountains And make the sunsets blush
Here is why I have a problem I met you I picked you up off the ground And we flew We fought for eachother until we were Black and blue You helped create who I am right now Just as I helped mould you I gave you strength when you gave up on yourself Now look at you! Strong and motivated We have built our lives around one another We've talked of the future and what it holds for us You're my home I love you and you love me
So can you see it now? Her and I, we were written in the stars But do the stars always tell us the truth? I have you and you seem so fearlessly in love And as much as I love you, my heart still hurts Because I love her, too

But do the stars always tell us the truth.Powerful pivotal line bringing all the questions and all the answers to the feet of where I think all of the affairs and struggles of the heart belong,Nature, with all the drives and forces never to make sense of our world but then that's because it isn't! |
