A Reflection Of A Wonderful Lady!

A Reflection Of A Wonderful Lady by Fred M. Lassonde

This afternoon as I sat looking at the white snow melting

I saw approaching a very small chiffon, white puffy cloud

Although, the snow was melting the heat was not sweltering

That pure white snow reminded me of whom I am most proud

I seen the little cloud as a symbol of this dear one I care for

An innocent love for a person whose heart is made of gold

Whose infinite worth far exceeds that and much, much more

A person who has a radiant smile, loving laugh and is not cold

A loving voice of an Angel in which I long to hear

She is a wit and has the ability to make one smile

However, she can be serious and also provoke a tear

This wonderful, beautiful Lady, oh so very dear!

Now if it was a crime to love and be proud of another

Then I profess my guilt to the world and to this Sister

For even though I am broken I can still be here Brother

I can pray and hope and tell her that I have missed her.

Mmm great write Fred. I feel the loneliness you express here. I know you miss her and sometimes telling them is all we can do.
