|
I talked to a nameless man without
uttering a sound,
Though no words exchanged I could
feel the pain in his voice,
He shared his familiar tale as the
events played out in my minds eye,
Our life's journey a mirror of the other,
I listened yet I could offer no help to
free him from his woes,
Dissatisfied that no solution could be
attained we parted as we had met,
Traveling as one still separated from life
to one day conquer our foes as
they surface.
