Longing am I to see the sky of night
For I have lost the gift of sight
Always the light is what I sought
Never a thought, of the dark
For now there is no light I see
Why a night sky not for me
As my eye's no longer do for me
Why, take me to my knees
Now you have, for all to see
A King bending as you please
For I am no longer King
Darkness rules all I see
So quickly now, do as I say
Darkness will not rule this way
End this darkness at my neck
For I am not a King, without respect
