Nostalgic

Miles and miles of lush green trees Chirping birds and whistling leaves Fresh raw smell of wet earth and weeds Thin white clouds floating over valleys steep.
Trains rushing through unknown villages Presents loaded in all its' carriages Famine stricken children prying at its packages For a glimpse of hope to fill their stomach empty for ages.
Fountains of rivers flowing through unknown places Raw silt in its' water shimmering in bright sunrays Like gold worth enough for your daily wages With not a single penny at hand to buy a poor man his happinesses.
Rows of flowers in gardens green Juicy fruits stacked in parcels clean Plenty of milk to churn out cream Yet nothing left to fulfill a dead man's dream.

This is real poetry. Vivid imagery painted with master strokes of pen. Somber, yet full of poetic tongue. Exquisite.
