Moon Lit Sky

Moon Lit Sky

As I look out,
at the moon lit sky,
I sit and wonder,
the famous why,
I wonder what would be,
if I might die,
would you go on,
or would you cry,
I dont think Im ready,
to say good bye,
but my petty life,
might end tonight,
as months pass,
and weeks go by,
I think to myself,
this is all a lie,
she never cared,
never wanted this guy,
so what does it matter,
as I give a loud sigh,
what does it matter,
if this was our last night,
it wouldnt stop you,
slow your wonderful life,
so just get it over,
and tell me good-bye,
Its want you want,
lets make it right,
tell me the truth,
do I make you smile,
I dont want to stay,
in this denial,
that you can love me,
truly after a while,
my dreams for us,
have completely died,
so get it over with,
kill me tonight,
If you care for me,
you can make it right,
I have got to know,
which way your heart guides,
You know I will be there,
even at troubles height,
tell me you care,
so I dont have to fight,
I do every day,
and its not right,
show me today,
give me your light,
so I can see us,
dancing till midnight,
out by a tree,
in the moon lit sky.
