If we say nothing and pretend we do not see will our conscious agree that we should persuade our morals to believe that it was just a figment a broken piece of fear and pain dragging her broken battered body from the shadows of a filthy ally into the crying rain

her broken battered body
from the shadows
of a filthy ally
into
the crying rain"
I love this line. There is no redemption...from filthy alley, not into the sun or loving arms, but into rain...another form of misery. Well done on not taking the easy way out.
