Measure my resolve
Gauge my response
Finger on my pulse
I am ensconced
Squeeze where it hurts
Seize me at my worst
Every morning,
is like the first
Awakening,
a rebirth
A beckoning,
of sorts
Your head contorts
Backwards then forth
When I am done
Treat me like dirt
Burry me
Back in the earth
Put my faith through its paces
Your mouth kisses me,
in all the wrong places
Watch as these tears fall,
off all my ugly faces
Wasted
Love devoid of the basics
Trust, honesty and respect
Filling empty compartments of neglect
Complacent
We walk hand in hand,
while I dream of your sex
Tired feet
Have not rested
Abused and rejected
I wonder who was next?
Coming full circle
All I decried and detested
Has been reincarnated
Many questions,
leave me perplexed
Out of context
This story makes no sense
Hurried and hastened
Love begets hatred
If we slow down
Time will allow forgiveness
Or strangle us by the neck

Beautiful job expressing the gut wrenching limbo of a love lost. Especially after trust has been broken, as this write implies.
