To complicate matters
Make things worse
Now, I love you more
Despite how much it hurts
When two begin as friends
Caring comes first
As I held your hand
Kissed your lips
Our lines got blurred
Suddenly,
There were no words
We can't explain
Why life takes such drastic turns
A spark must ignite
Before a fire can burn
And so the flame
Offers us a chance to learn

| To true my friend to true, it hurts and it is undesirable but it is inevitable that we have to go through certain things in life. as if we couldn't know them any other way, which I think is true. I never let the friendship stage last very long I probably should have though, looking back now. Great little poem here. |
