How did it come to this
that honesty
and commonsence
has become
so corrupt
we can no longer
call our government
a democracy
where in times
of old
the bloody footprints
of our forefathers
can still be traced
from the last battles
to the times
like we have today
but this time
there is no where
to run
there are
no new lands
to defend
the life
our forefathers
died
to protect

Your poetry this one in particular reminds me of an anthem. You have a strong political vein in your poetry that reminds me at least to think on history.
