ALGERIA

Contributed by wazarov on Monday, 26th May 2003 @ 05:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Listen, silence..
listen, natures violence
look around you, what you see
children shrouded in mud
women smashed under heavy walls

lament with me humans
let your eyes bleed for my people
allow your heart to moan and weep with me

I lost my brothers

when it is going to end
tyranny taking, dictators whipping
endless dark decades
and now the rain is punishing us
earth inflicting her anger on us

all that for being merciful and forgiving
or being weak and blind

death is taking
and we keep giving
like we gave in November

hope, is betraying our generation
and we still wait for gods answer
how long we should wait.. how more we should die

never die again my brothers, my people
never wait again for dreams
set your souls free before you burry our beloved ones

it is our time, today, now..
Unleash your vengeance, your justice
take what is ours by hand.

We will not die again, we will not bow again

rest in peace my dead brothers
we will watch over your graves

rest, rest..
