Some Sick romantic picture of myself- six feet above, hovering like a damn demon seeing through whiskeyed eyes a silly version in my mind of majestic tragedy- when reality is a shot glass and sordid past, a cigarette grasp and hazy smoke; a joke, really, to me, even now as I seek somehow to find a majesty not there; ephemeral and fleeting as carcinogenic air.

cosmic rationalizing
like a cavity that sticks
and the appointment with
the dentist
I might forget
before it gets big
Oh the "some sick romantic picture of myself"
how it comes and goes, and oozes
For me, I see it in the eyes of someone else
I see me sometimes the way I might just be
How do you go back, when you can't.
But that's it
it's the Cosmic discovery
that at first really sucks
Cool write my man!
Peace! |

I like your style
I'm not much for a bunch of BS fluff.
I'm not reading a story but a poem.
So I'm a fan!
You have a special talent for seeing what others can not! |
