Speaking of Brotherly and Godly Love! A poem, "True Love Always Prevails!" by Fred M. Lassonde
You no longer respond to me
but I Love you anyhow
I will just let this Love be
Nothing more I can do now
Even though I am feeling blue
I can rejoice in Loving you
Will go on caring how you are
Will just let Love heal this scar
I was once a good looking man
But sickness had another plan
Just so long as you know
I will go on Loving you
Love has a way to grow
That I learned from you!
Do you see now, what I do?
Oh Love has a Way
It will reach the intended
Your heart will someday
Say "I Love you, I am mended!"
Never does A True Love fail
Even in death it will prevail
This Love is just not of the World
It is there for you and me
And every Boy and Girl
So I just go on a believing
Someday it will be your Love
Your Love I will be receiving!
For what is meant from Above
Will come shining on through
So even if you do not talk to me
I will just go on Loving you!
True Love, it will always be
It always has its Way
You will find this out someday!
For True Love never fails
It always, always, prevails!
