One blind parson of a Sunday sermon serve, one elbow, gentle finger's felt, ...the first step, yes, there it is...., Ahh..bless you, friend, please take this, lips smiling past his vacant stare; crutch-less now, a slapping sound- the parson's hop, hop, hop of three to stop (at last). The pulpit gained, with outstretched hand not yet began his two working ears absorbed the gasp.
I see, with smile sadly wry, your collective gasp doth not requireth eyes. My feet, you note no longer two, now one, and a single hand to boot!
You've that known me needn't wonder why- I removed my foot, my hand, both eyes... for you, (Oh blessings be!) new to God, the church and me- these timbers and all herein obey God's word, know it's law- no wiggle room you'll find here, oh heavens, no, none at all....
My appendages offend me they, my eyes (while wished on God) did fleshly stray- my hand did trespass past functions loo-ly charge, and my foot kicked a drunken man- my cruelty paid as now I stand.
Mark your words to Matthew 18:8-9, freely see, I've marked mine.
