Rise and shine, lassie.
Youve got a big day ahead of you.
Youve got a big life ahead of you.
Whats going on?
My little sisters all grown up
And ready to take on the world.
As six brilliant syllables
Spill from the lips of the man
Charged with our protection and our education
In an ancient rite of passage,
Bringing children into adulthood
I look on and remember the excitement
The feeling of liberty
The pride
And the happiness,
As Im sure youll remember it all too.
( )- Hes calling my name.
This is me. Its time.
( )- Ill go shake his hand
And get my DIPLOMA!
( )- About time! Oh my God!
Im a graduate!
( )- I have my DIPLOMA!
I have my DIPLOMA!
( )- Where are mom and dad?
Are they getting this on film?
( )- Thank you for everything.
This is so wonderful.

You are wonderful to care so much for your sister and pay such a wonderful tribute to her. Im glad she is making her way thru life!!! Great poem.
