Sanctuary

Topic: DarkPoetry

Softly swarming shadowy simulacrum,
Brazen in retrospects visage,

Certainty bows her humble head,
Ever thoughtful in her defeat,

Dutiful to her hidden foes,
Denying them that which they crave,

Her meek enemy seeps into the mold,
Crafted into those with impractical dreams.

This is a largely veiled piece of writing, but it still captured my attention. Good stuff. I am intrigued.

You're back! :D

Took a few reads to really get the point of this. The question is for me, who does it pertain to. An interesting representation or so I'd say, and I wonder if that crafting and mold are what creates the enemy, or if the enemy is the enemy, because they're meek, or by pursuing the impractical dreams, do they then become that person, while certainty hangs in her head in defeat, for she tries to tell them, or they should know her well enough, to know she can not help.

Whichever way the case could or may be, it's still a dark poem, with a bright message. By seeking that which is not possible, or very much unlikely, you lose all certainty. However despite this, in uncertainty, there's no certainty of forfeiture of the success of such impractical dreams. :)
