Over the years you have become
Immeasurable,
Unforgettable,
Supernatural.
My championed litmus test-
I did you wrong.
Severed our bond
And now you're
Gone ...
Not really,
You still remain
Here.
Our home away from home
Where emotions overflow
I know, that you know, what I know,
Is true.
I'm talking to you-
Yes, you.
Closer than many,
I owe you plenty,
I see what you did.
And continue to do,
Pages of spilt ink I owe to you
Eternal thanks, for remaining true
When fair weathered alliances fell through
I love you.
It's nothing new,
I mean it in the purest form.
I owe you so much
For the many ways
You've touched
My life
Never forget,
I'll never regret,
You were never my pawn.
I'm here to right a wrong.
My heart spreads to become your canopy,
Bleeding profusely I gave all of me.
