Onto hills we played and roamed
they tried to find us and bring us home
We danced in the rain and we loved to sing
you and I were a beautiful thing
We knew places they could never find
and we hid in trees they could never climb
I was the dark and you were the light
and together we were a beautiful sight
My body was your temple to explore
and no one in this world could
have loved you more
we took each other to elevation
and I felt the earth move during penetration
We rolled in the grass and danced on the heather
telling each other we'd always be together
no one could ever extinguish this flame
and two hearts always beat the same
Nothing will change no matter what life will bring
you and I are still a beautiful thing.

Pardon the pun, but this poem is beautiful. Makes me curious why it is listed under 'dark' poetry...Maybe it is not as it seems- a love story between two people. I suppose it could be a clever ode to certain drugs...Or is the topic ironic?
