Today
I had seen you from afar
It brought back fond memories
Of the way we were
I wonder if you ever think of me
You were my one and only
True love
Walks along the beach
Holding hands
Four feet in the sand
Do you ever think of me
Even remember things as they used to be
I often stare at the stars
Wondering where you are
Wishing to see you
If only to vanish away the scars
The love we had was both happy and sad
When you said goodbye
I had no reason to be
Only to survive
Without thee
