Silence by a Dim Pyre

The dim embers of the pyre are fading The chambers can no longer behold Joyous tunes and royals masquerading No more stories are here to be told
Silhouettes fade with the decorative walls As the room in entirety turns to moot Silence now is the atmosphere that enthralls As the shapes and confidantes follow suit
My mind is now becoming hollow My thoughts bearing no words said At this point my writing may follow I'm starting to think that my muse is dead

Pretty good. You do go from one extreme to the other, pretty neat though, you keep people thinking!

uh....if your muse is dead then it's writing from the other side. *plays weird spooky ghost music*
I really like.

i think perhaps it sometimes sits quietly beside you, also
looking into the flames, unseen, as muses do, this is so
beautifully penned!
