To Slow the Pendulum

Contributed by irisblue on Thursday, 26th March 2015 @ 08:12:59 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Lying on a bed of moss and violets, I feel the cool, rough earth beneath us
High above the sun breaks through the trees, cascading down a warm pattern of gold and orange light
on our naked bodies

The smell of wild flowers thick in the air,
The sounds of leaves gently brushing against one another, puts us into a sweet lover's trance
This is what it feels like, to love someone completely...

As the breeze softly picks up again, the prism of light changes once again, and the pattern changes partners and resumes the magic dance across our bodies
I watch mesmerized, content, fulfilled.

This moment is perfect, our breathing soft and in unison, I feel your heart beat against my cheek,
Oh just a little longer, one more heartbeat, one more kiss... and then I'll let go
And leave you far, far away as the season is changing

And when you hear the leaves brush against one another, and feel the sun radiate across your face
know this, " Mi alma te necisita a cada hora del dia..."

(my soul longs for you every hour of every day)

This just goes to prove that intoxication can be achieved without the use of alcohol!!
I was intoxicated by your words and you seem to be intoxicated with the whole scene you are describing
Perfect and soothing.

Your best, as I've read them...it is indeed magical. It has it all...memories, melancholy, love, bliss, tragedy, joy, smells, light...everything. I envy you, though in an admirable, healthy way.

"Mi alma te necisita a cada hora del dia" sublime.

"Mi alma te necisita a cada hora del dia..." Awesome...Irisbluie, just awesome.

Another dedication of to lie at the base of the alter of love and sensuality, but done in such good taste, it leaves me feeling what love should be, not what it is (in the basest context) for so many.

Damn, you are really good. I did ask you ages ago (from the Katy Trail Ode) if you are from St. Louis area. Are you? No worries, Iris, not seeking to meet you, only curious as I am from there. So is Ming and, I think, either AnotherRed or Haunted.
