Someone kicked out the chair
And I'm dangling
Hanging from the rope that's strangling
Mangling my vocal chords,
Crushing my larynx,
And stifling screams
Tears escaping in plentiful streams
Beams of light taking flight
Sockets loosening to endless night
Chafing of rope
And suffocated hope
Hands to my neck
But the noose grows tighter
Flailing legs
Resemble a fighter
Purple faced,
Oxygen encased,
My neck snaps-
Down
Down
I go
Hands clap,
The show is over.
Bravo!

A horror story! So vividly described that I began to feel panicky. Wanted it to end. Hurry Hurry..die.

Holy *****!!!! Damn, my throat hurts.
Hate when life wants to strangle the life right (or is that write?) out of you. It was hard for me to let the metaphor soak in with all that damn fine imagery.
Recently some person, who shall remain nameless, :P asked me if she'd ever right (write) again and I replied with an assertive yes!!! That person called me a liar. Who's the liar...hmmmm? *inserts harumph emote right about here* :D

so i have a good friend who just three weeks ago found her brother's suicide hanging in her garage. this IMMEDIATELY brought that to mind. graphic and gripping, it caused a visceral reaction straight out the dang gate. it scared me. i only continued to read it because i like most of what you write. this is very well written, and very hard to read...at the same time.
in other words, a well-written piece.
