Together, we are, but society does not know,
covering our feelings therefore it's no show.
Secretly spending our days alone,
wishing the silence of our love was gone.
Can't express the way we are to the world,
you are my boy am I your girl?
Tears of hurt shed within me,
its always a you or I but never a you and me.
You're afraid to show commitment to the public eye,
why? Why you have to be that guy?
Body is a shield and my heart is pure glove,
I'm done with our relationship, I'm done with no love.

Pretty good. I think it'd be better if all the words rhymed.
