Why do I bother
listening to everyone talk politics every day
Everyone has opinions to share
but everyone argues about what each other has to say
Nobody is right and nobody is wrong
the bickering goes on and on, to no end
Meanwhile our country is falling to pieces
people even walking on the flag, soldiers fight to defend
Religion is being ousted
the greedy are in office and offer no cure
We are lied to our faces
and we have a president no one wants to call sir
America is falling so fast
foreigners ready to take it over in a blink of an eye
So much turmoil within
people run their mouth but not willing to fight and die
So many soldiers sacrifice
everything they have to keep America free
Our government in a seemingly chaotic state
hiding so much truth from you and me
So, why do I bother
I ask myself this very day
Its because I too, fought for our freedom
a freedom where everyone can have something to say
Its going to be hard to gain control
a revelation of change is coming our way
The time to stop fighting each other has come
Americans need to stand together strong, I say
Our government needs a change
to get America back on track
It needs to happen now
the enemy is coming and ready to attack
