Citadel Of Hell

Contributed by JamesStockdale on Saturday, 11th July 2015 @ 02:20:01 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

As the night washes in
I feel an anxiety growing within
Silent by the day
Come the night the whispers reign supreme
With no sun to shine
They have stolen my soul
Out from under and within
They now control my mind
Their wishes being far from divine
Fueled by the great Satan
They have crossed the line
My thoughts are now theirs
For now they are the
Heirs of my soul

As the night wears thin
They have forced me to do unspeakable things
Against those of my kind
Someone shine a light
On me tonight
Help me take flight to
Save my life
Grow strong to fight for what's right
Free me from this terrible fright
Just like Alice White
I too have become Satan's delight

Out of the darkness
Shines a brilliant light
They have come to save me
A voice from heaven summons me
It loudly proclaims all I have to do
Is follow the light
The grasp on my soul
Has taken its toll
A firm grip albeit super tight
I need more than just a glimmer of light
To return me and save my life

I feel the heat and fire of hell
It's all around me
Engulfs my fragile soul
The smell of death serves them well
I begin my decent into a fleshy hell
As I slowly melt in front of them all
In the distance I hear the voice of God
It proclaims, if I shall survive
I must fight with unending hope and determination
Then I shall be sent forth the power and will to destroy all evil
The hand of God pierces the nightly sky
With the crack of thunder the lightning strikes

I feel the power that is now bestowed upon me
Up from the ashes I am metamorphosized
Disguised as a white dove to the enemies that be
I am in reality a Phoenix of Christianity
I shall reign supreme over all insanity
Evil shall no longer be
Lucifer back to your fiery hell
I shall rule the heavens
The earth above
As God has given thee
Fourteen hundred years
To cleanse the earth
Cast aside those that do evil
Give humanity a sinless birth

The monster is out of the cage. You have captured that. A professional write.

My empathy for you runs far deeper than any rabbit hole and I freefall gladly into wonderland underland underworld to slay the jabber wocky that seems to jibber jabber on in our heads for far to long .off with their heads the red banshee screams but I hold the silver sword fast in my grasp for these silver trembling hands shake no more . Queen of the underworld you say? I am merely a woman and a samaritan of sorts . Not even worthy of a crown of thorns instead I weave my own gold from fields of wheat and straw. Xxx priveleged to have been noticed by you too of this hats off I am sure. Meet you in the feild when the bell tolls x

This could be a new favourite from you...Dark and mysterious, and the flow has me reading it out loud repeatedly.
Great stuff!

// I came back to read this again.

Sometimes I have actually inspired myself to write some thing by reading one of my earlier writes just to see how I did it before. Just sayin`.

I/'/m wondering how deep a rabbit hole goes. I guess I will Google it.

Thank you for such an enjoyable read.

// Well that did not help. One guy says anywhere between two feet to fifteen feet, depending on a lot of /*****/. Then another said around two to three inches. Another sixteen inches to eighteen inches.

Then it appears hole and burrow are two different things.

But "Ask Alice, when she/'/s ten feet tall."
