maybe I'm a mirage

and a zero trying to embrace
an empty space and struggling to fill
time; with a golden meaning and belong to self
absorbing the shudders of how far
back I go.

interesting poem
Emerson encircles
logic that was once
remembrance branching
off like the bud of a branch
that maybe can never
reach enough new light
yet it clearly attempts
to do so again and again
but a thought is not an action
and an action is not only
just a thought
sometimes actions carry with
them a lack of thought
and sometimes thoughts
carry with them no action
and sometimes actions that
come from thought come from
thought because of actions
that came before with no thought

I keep re-reading these words, over and over. Soaking it all in.
What isn't said in this poem and what I feel, or rather sense from what you did write, is hitting home. A certain heaviness is seeping into my bones...
It makes me uncomfortable, but it makes me curious to explore this curator of the abstract mind. This style works quite well for you.
Keep at it!
