My heart skips a beat every time I hear
you come near
I shake with fear
How much do you know?
How much of me
The true me
Do you see?
I couldnt bear
For you to know
The pain I endear
The blood I make flow
Im sorry Ive lied
Told you everythings okay
When truly deep down
I hate every day
Im sorry Ive pulled back
Out of your reach
Im sorry Ive lost track
Ive fallen from the bridge
When everything is wrong
When Ive given up hope
I never reach for you
I know you wouldnt cope
Please understand
Im doing this for you
Your innocent is priceless
Im sorry you never knew
Im sorry I draw back
Every time you take my hand
But now Im lost
And I cant be found
Its safer to keep
Away from me
Than to see
What I really see
You dont know what
Kind of hurt Im going through
Im sorry if this hurts you
But everything, its all true
One day Ill show you
A part of this reality
But youre safer for now

It was written a long time ago.. or at least it feels like it.. to my mum, who i love so much, but now it's all too late - she knows nearly everything now, and we're getting so far apart.. i've never felt like this before, we've always been so close...
