those dresses

Contributed by boobies on Wednesday, 28th May 2003 @ 10:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

he says he's backwards
but he kills forward
and lives nine lives
in full throttle
three-sixty

and here we are
we've come undone
became a victim
of the things he's done

how does she keep it down
so well? when the
water on tap is hotter
than hell and burns
like iodine

in your famous cut
till we're done, we let
the blood run

then Beverly said
she was a man
because he's got it
all and she says

"doesn't every man, honey?"

he'll keep her in the kitchen
till she tires and says
"it's over" and is this
how true fairy tales
begin and end?

she was in distress
oh how he rescues the
woman divine

but she hates him
she could've saved herself

and if she does
she still wears her pretty dress

they said "it's
the law" every
man makes the law
because it's easier that way

those dresses

you can lift 'em up girl,
it's easier that way

your poems may not make any sense, but it made perfect sense to me... in the tradition of david lynch films... i'd say we have a winner here... excellent imagery... and the end just hit the nail on the head... kudos... blessings...
