God i hear your call
i'm torn with my bowls
exposed
i've ignored you and made
flesh my compass
gates opened
well-dressed demons
pierced my eyes
deceived my heart
filled my ears with concrete
Intoxicated my decision-making
robbed me of my possessions left me
hungry and thirsty
weak
filled with guilt
and shame
i beg you to pass the cup
of forgiveness

| When the cup is empty there is no storm for us to weather and we have only barely learnt to crawl . When we learn to ask for more the cup is never empty that's when we learn to dance in the rain untill we are ready to climb over the rainbow and welcome trials and tribulation as they say no pain no gain. Love your poems they are truly inspirational.x |
