she perseveres defending
her lies
inflicting doubt in his inner self
its agonizing
ignoring the sirens
endless weeping
the stench in the trash can
turns toxic
he can't keep it in much
longer
a river of lava seasoned
with shameful deceit
flexes its muscle
unaware tactic transforms to charm
his heart screams at his mind to shut up just shut up
I'm on the platform
NOW
an uncontrollable surge
lashes with harmful
Intent
surprised
hanging on for dear life
those eyes become helpless
will he ever forget that
look
of complete surrender
