In the days gone by
I climbed a rainbow just for you
Clear to the sky and that's no lie
I offered you my love
My undying affection
But it all was denied
Love is blind
They all used to say
Must be true cause
With me you looked the other way
As time grew on
I forgot you and I even knew
Like a drop of dew falling from a leaf
My love for you turned from deep to brief
Now I am your new love
You have found once again
Forgotten way back when
Love has eluded you
This time again
Yet another rebound
I am the new love you found
In the end
Oh how profound
